If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to support local needs. This process, known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) or "IRA Charitable Rollover", allows you to make an immediate impact while lowering your taxable income.

Tax Savings: Your gift counts toward your distribution requirements without adding to your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions.

Maximize Impact: Because the funds transfer directly from your IRA provider to Quiet Givers, 100% of your gift goes toward fulfilling urgent requests.

Satisfy RMDs: If you are 73 or older, a QCD counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year.

How to Support Quiet Givers Through a QCD:

1. Contact Your IRA Custodian: Request an IRA Charitable Distribution form or instruct your provider to send a check directly to Quiet Givers.
