NEED #5646 | Senior in Need of Home Care

WATAUGA | We have been made aware of senior disabled client who is unable to lift anything over 1 pound and has trouble completing her daily tasks of living. She is low income, and due to the pandemic had gone over 7+ months living by herself in a hotel room. She has finally found a place to live in an apartment in boone. She is in desperate need of home care assistance, someone to help her with meal preparation, shopping assistance, light housekeeping, and general companionship. We are currently working to help find her other resources to cover this need moving forward, but we would like to go ahead and cover one month of care while other agencies seek a more permanent solution.
