Summer Care for a Special Neighbor

This local family is working hard to be self-sufficient. The mom recently applied for assistance to help cover the cost of a summer program for her young son, who has autism. Unfortunately, the family didn't qualify for assistance because their income was $7 over the limit.

Now the family is trying to cover the expenses for the full summer - a cost that is simply impossible for their tight budget to absorb. We want to help bridge the gap that the system couldn't.
